ASUU Strike: NLC, NANS Hold Massive Protest In - Abuja

The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC and the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS have embarked on a serious protest in Abuja, Naija News has learned.

The protests were tagged “Save Education Rally”. The groups are demanding an increase in funding for the Education sector.

NANS president, Danielson Akpan, told newsmen that the dwindling allocation of funding to the sector was saddening.

Recall the Academic Staff Union of Universities recently embarked on another strike action over what it termed government’s refusal to honour agreements it made with the union.
