Newcastle to open talks for £25m Almiron

Newcastle will hold talks in the United States this week over Atlanta United midfielder Miguel Almiron.

The Paraguay international has generated interest from several Premier League sides, including Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham.

But the Magpies will look to move to the front of the queue for the 24-year-old, whom MLS values at £25 million ($32m).
