Atiku not Buhari's match, will endure bloodied nose – Dambazau
The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has said previous Vice-President Abubakar Atiku is no counterpart for President Muhammadu Buhari and will endure a bloodied nose in the 2019 presidential race.
Atiku is the competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party while the occupant President, Buhari is of the All Progressives Congress.
Addressing journalists at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Dambazau said while the President had utilized his situation all through the office to better the lives of individuals, Atiku had not affected lives outside his prompt circle.
He talked through his Senior Special Assistant and previous Chairman, House Committee on Security, Aliyu Gebi.
He stated, "In this race (2019), there is just a single combatant and that fighter is the present President. Thus, there is no contender. (Atiku) by saying this is the hardest race ever of, yes hardest for him, absolutely not for the President.
"To the extent, I'm concerned, this will be the most effortless race in the historical backdrop of Nigeria to the extent President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC are concerned; he (Atiku) won't win Adamawa significantly less Taraba or Gombe and after that come to Bauchi. We will guarantee we do whatever we can, this will be the last Atiku's exposing and he will endure a bloodied nose by the finesse of God."
Dambazau said the nation had destroyed Boko Haram, including that the uprising was in his last days in spite of the ongoing assault on Melete where warriors were killed.
The previous Chief of Army Staff said with the Chief of Defense Staff, Gen. Gbenga Olonisakin, taking an inside stage and advancing attachment among the administration boss, it involved time for the rebellion to be totally wiped off.
