Update: House Of Reps approve June 12 as Democracy Day

The House of Representatives has endorsed that June 12 be set apart as Democracy Day in Nigeria.

The endorsement pursued the reception of a cover a bill trying to amend the Public Holidays Act 2004.

Considering the report at the entire on Thursday, the officials affirmed the alterations to three provisos ‎in the Act, as suggested in the report.

One of the statements erased May 29 as Democracy Day and supplanted the date with June 12, as a make of democracy day.
