Songwriter Scott English dead at 81
Scott English, the producer and songwriter behind hits like Bend Me Shape Me and Hi Ho Silver Lining has died, aged 81.
English passed away on Tuesday (20Nov18).
He also wrote the track Brandy, which became Barry Manilow’s 1974 hit Mandy, according to Billboard, while other songs he penned were recorded by the likes of Slade, Donny Osmond, Dionne Warwick, and Thin Lizzy.
